Jazz bands and fans converge in Kalispell Oct. 9-11 for the 22nd annual tribute to traditional jazz, now known as Glacier Jazz: Dixie, Ragtime and More.

The Eagles Club, which boasts three stages and a large hardwood dance floor in the main ballroom, is the hub for this year’s event. Performers include High Sierra and the Titan Hot 7 from California; Grand Dominion, Evergreen Classic Jazz Band and The Yeti Chasers from the Pacific Northwest; and the Rex Rieke Trio, Glacier Jazz All Stars, Evergreen Jazz and Rocky Mountain Rhythm Kings from Montana.

Several guest artists also take turns on stage: Brian Holland, a stride and ragtime pianist from Texas; banjo-player Rory Thomas from Denver; reed-player Andy Hall from Washington; and Flathead Valley artists Wai Mizutani on violin, John Goodrich on reeds, and vocalists Dianne Dunne, Karla West and Linda Ensign.

Music begins at 1 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday; dance lessons are available at 2 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday.
