Big Sky Country State Fair is the first major fair of the summer. Events begin Saturday, July 14, and wrap up Sunday, July 22, at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds in Bozeman. A preview with the Montana State Horse Show Association Open Horse Show is July 14-25, followed by the Gallatin County 4-H Horse Show July 16-17. Gate admission begins Wednesday, July 18.
Entertainment options include three performances of the Bozeman Roundup Ranch Rodeo, three night shows, the Summer Expo, motor sports, the Rocky Mountain Wife Carrying Championship, kids’ competitions, new foods, and more.
