Festival Amadeus floods Flathead with classical music

The seven-concert Festival Amadeus, July 31-Aug. 6 in Whitefish, features acclaimed guest artists, along with the Bridger String Quartet and Glacier String Quartet, performing some of the finest classical music of Mozart, Beethoven, Piazzolla, Prokofiev, Wagner and others. “This festival will be full of traditional favorites and some interesting twists and turns,” promises music director John Zoltek. David Grisman headlines SOULA Festival in Hot Springs

Reba coming to Bozeman; tickets on sale July 15

Reba McEntire – one of country music’s most successful female vocalists – makes her only Montana stop Oct. 20 at Brick Breeden Fieldhouse in Bozeman. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. July 15. Since her song, “How Blue,” topped the country charts in 1984, the Oklahoma native and former barrel racer as made a name for herself as a “new traditionalist” and accrued a slew of awards.
