The Montana Folk Festival: Six stages, 250 artists, and it’s free!

Further, anchored by two founding members of the Grateful Dead, guitarist and songwriter Bob Weir and bassist Phil Lesh, comes to the Adams Center in Missoula Sept. 27. The band, named after Ken Kesey's psychedelically painted bus, continues “the Grateful Dead tradition of stellar playing and free-flowing improvisation that moves the mind and shakes the body.” Read more

Willie Nelson and Lyle Llovett to play Missoula’s Osprey Field

Willie Nelson and Lyle Lovett and His Large Band will perform at 7 p.m. Aug. 2 at Ogren Park Allegiance Field in Missoula. Nelson is a prolific songwriter and entertainer, and one of country music's most notorious "outlaws." Tickets on sale now to Magic City Blues’ 10th anniversary bash

Magic City Blues celebrates its 10th anniversary by bringing four days of live music to three venues, Aug. 11-14. This year’s roster includes the return of two festival favorites – George Thorogood and the Destroyers, Aug. 12, and Michael Franti and Spearhead, Aug. 13.
