Tickets on sale now for Foo Fighters’ May show in Missoula

Tickets go on sale Friday, March 18, for the Grammy-winning Seattle-based rock band Foo Fighters, who perform May 26 at the Adams Center in Missoula. The band, which has garnered three Grammies for Best Rock Album and six nominations, celebrates a new CD, Wasting Light, slated for release in April. Their new documentary, "Back and Forth," tops Rolling Stone's list of 2011 music documentaries. Read more

Lt. Col. Timothy Holtan “Strikes Up the Band” in UM celebration

The University of Montana College of Visual and Performing Arts will “Strike Up the Band” when Tim Holtan returns to campus March 19 as the featured guest artist and alumni honoree at the 11th annual Odyssey of the Stars. Holtan is Commandant of the U.S. Army School of Music, a position he assumed last July after spending five years leading the United States Military Academy Band at West Point. Read more
