Award-winning, English indie pop band formed in 2010 in London, England, the four-piece band is comprised of lead vocalist Dan Smith, keyboardist Kyle Simmons, bassist/guitarist Will Farquarson, and drummer Chris Wood. They’ve released three full-length albums including their debut, Bad Blood, which included the hit single “Pompeii.” The platinum certified single has racked up over one billion streams on Spotify and over 660 million views on Youtube.
Their 2016 album, Wild World, was named Best Album by NME and was gold certified in the UK. In 2019, they released Doom Days, which reached number 5 on the Billboard 200 chart.Possibly their most notable single, “Happier,” written and produced by Marshmello, was released in 2018 and currently holds the record for most weeks spent at number one on the US Dance/Electronic Songs chart.
