Through Aug. 28, Carol Hartman will exhibit her landscape oil paintings in “Homesteads: Courage to Change.” Coming from a rich homestead background in rural Montana along the Missouri River, she creates large colorful oil paintings that reflect upon the remoteness, hardships, and struggles of early pioneers.
Leah Gallagher uses a wide variety of media including oil, acrylic, pastel, and charcoal. Her latest collection, “Yellowstone to Blue Grass Country,” includes western America and Ohio Valley landscapes, as well as florals and portraits. She is known for her vibrant and striking pieces that capture moving water and changing skies. Both artists reside in Red Lodge.
