Dance Underground

Apr 23 - May 2

“Dance Underground” is a uniquely intimate production that provides a platform for choreographers to experiment with the creative process. Student and faculty choreographers use movement as a vehicle to research diverse themes. This production, two weekends with multiple lineups of different new works, promises to be distinctive and exciting. Plan to come to more than one performance for a sampling of novel dance perspectives! Program I performs three times and will feature works created by students who have completed the UM Dance Program’s foundational choreography coursework. The other three programs seen will each be unique evenings of dance including works from brand-new choreographers and works presented as technique-course showings.
