The Port Polson Players launch their summer season with a melodramatic comedy replete with music, a villain, his villainess, a heroine, a hero and, of course, a train track.
Dirty Work at the Crossroads’ cast of community members features 10 performers and five musicians. The Players are taking an authentic approach to the play, written in the late 1890s, producing it with drop and wing scenery. Although the show isn’t a musical, each character has theme music, and a short oleo act follows intermission with songs from the era.
