Fixit Clinic

Home ReSource and partners invite the public to exercise their right to repair! A Fixit Clinic is a "pop-up" event where people bring their broken things and learn how to repair them.
Trying to fix something can be intimidating! Everyone is welcome, even those who have never attempted to fix something before.
Volunteer Fixit coaches help repair broken, worn or malfunctioning stuff by sharing their knowledge and skills. The result is technology demystified, more people empowered with simple repair know-how, and less stuff trashed and replaced.
Fixit coaches at this particular event will assist with: clothes mending, small-engine repair (lawnmowers and weed eaters); knife sharpening; electrical testing and repair; and 3D printing as needed for small replacement parts.
