Frame of Mind presents art from Amanda Bielby Nov. 2-30.
Bielby was the recipient of this year’s Juror’s Choice Award from the gallery’s Juried Art Expo group show in July. As a recipient of this award, she received the opportunity to have her own solo art show in the Frame of Mind gallery.
Working in the building trades, Bielby developed painful arthritis through her back and shoulders. She found a balance in art and uses the techniques she learned as an industrial painter to satisfy her passion to build and heal. Her inspiration grows from life’s moments and her landscaped environment. Her artistic background has motivated her to incorporate leftover building materials that would normally be thrown away.
