FVCC Theatre: "The Secret in the Wings"

FVCC Theatre Department’s final play of 2018 is Tony Award-winning playwright Mary Zimmerman’s “The Secret in the Wings.” Known for her wit, Zimmerman adapts a group of fairytales to create the dark story of a terrified young girl left in the care of an ogre when her parents venture out for an evening engagement. As the babysitter reads to the girl from a book, the characters in each fairytale materialize, with each tale breaking off at its most horrifying moment. Not a bedtime story, “”The Secret in the Wings” is recommended for mature audiences only.
