The Coyote Brothers is led by veteran guitarist, singer and songwriter Gary Small. Small was raised in Wyoming/Montana and is a member of the Northern Cheyenne Indian Tribe. Small has garnered four Native American Music Awards, including Best Male Artist, Best Songwriter, Best Rock, and Best World Music of the Year. Small was also the reigning Wyoming Blues Challenge winner for three consecutive years.
Gary Small has shared concert stages with: Huey Lewis, Maria Muldaur, Rita Coolidge, The Indigo Girls, Joan Jett, The Ventures, The Legendary Blues Band, John Mayall, Roy Rogers, J.J. Cale and many others. Small leads the Coyote Brothers through a myriad of music styles including Blues, Rockabilly, Latin Rock, Surf and Cajun.
