Inland Visions: Works from Spokane will highlight the diverse talent among artists working in clay in the Spokane area.
Only a three-hour drive from Missoula, this part of Eastern Washington offers numerous programs and studios that promote and foster ceramic arts and education, including Gonzaga University, Eastern Washington University, Spokane Falls Community College, and Trackside Studio and Gallery. This region is home to a variety of talented artists – works widely range in style and approach, from atmospheric fired pottery, to large-scale mixed-media sculpture.
Featured artists include Gina Freuen, Chris Kelsey, Mark Moore, Lisa Nappa, Mardis Nenno, Tybre Newcomer, Aubrey Purdy Rude, Mat Rude and Chris Tyllia.
The exhibition will be on display at the Clay Studio of Missoula March 1-29, 2019, with an opening on Friday, March 1, from 5:30-9 p.m. Gallery events are free and open to the public.
