Introduction to Mindfulness Group

Mindfulness Group is an eight-week group designed for folks who are new to mindfulness or those looking for a refresher. The approach will focus on introducing the basic concepts and techniques of mindfulness, with an emphasis on practical, real-life application. Whether clients are just beginning or have some experience, this group is for anyone looking to develop a deeper sense of awareness, presence, and self-compassion.
This group will be practice-focused and folks will be encouraged to explore different techniques to their own comfort level. The class will explore strategies for integrating mindfulness into daily activities and will engage in more structured/formal mindfulness techniques, such as breath awareness, body scanning, and mindful meditation. Throughout, the group will focus on bringing a gentle, compassionate awareness to all experiences.
