Poetry Open Mic Night

Poetry evenings have been a tradition since This House of Books came into existence. Meetings are on the first Tuesday of the month under the leadership of Nichole Almeda Morton.
The series gives an opportunity for poets to present their work outside of a competition or a “slam.” These popular events have featured famous, local, and beginning poets reading and speaking about poetry. Drop in to give a listen or to read. New participants are always welcome.
