That Which Connects Us’, works by Laura Grace Barret Resident Artist Keith D. Buswell. Using various etching methods Buswell’s work involves the communal nature of trees, and in achieving this, he has created arboreal portraits that signify places that hold importance to him. For this project, he was looking to create images of cities he has lived in through trees and structures reminiscent of the area. The focus is on how an individual can grow around manmade structures.
