"The Death of Others"

“”The Death of Others”” by Julynn Wilderson includes new choreography generated through a month-long intensive workshop. What is the substance of our personal grief and how have we been taught to Otherize, or view people as intrinsically different to ourselves? Dancers explore how grief inhabits the body, how connection and empathy affect that experience, the intermittently protective and reductive relationship to Others, and what it means to show up when Others asks us to in response to grief.
