The Fruit Bats

Time-tested indie folk band Fruit Bats return to Montana for concerts at The Wilma in Missoula March 22 and The ELM in Bozeman on March 23, both with support from Vetiver.
The band has had many lineup changes over the past 20 years, but continues to revolve around band founder, Eric D. Johnson, who was also a member of indie giants, The Shins. Fruit Bats have noted influences that include Supertramp, The Byrds, The Kinks and pop radio from the late ’70s and early ’80s. The band’s 2021 release, The Pet Parade, was called a “Cure for Winter’s Long Grayness” by Pop Matters.
