Wailing Aaron Jennings, The Recession Special and The Pettifoggers

Aaron Jennings really knows how to spin a yarn, in both song form and earnest stage banter, recounting tales of cowboys, immigrants and the history of yodeling. Joining the troubadour are relative newcomers to the Missoula music scene, The Recession Special, whose acoustic-driven songs bring to mind the promise of adventure inherent in travel by rail and long conversations with strangers.
Rounding out the evening are the The Pettifoggers, a newly-minted indie-folk trio who play ruggedly wistful songs full of heartfelt lyrics and melodies.
