Most people will admit they don’t focus very much on self-compassion. Some will even argue self-compassion is selfish. In this workshop, Lustik talks about why self-compassion is actually necessary for humans’ mental, emotional, and physical well-being. In addition, she shares some self-compassion practices that everyone can use to begin extending a little more kindness toward themselves.
Lustik, PhD, is owner of Mindfulness in Organizations and trains individuals and groups within education, non-profit, healthcare, government, and corporate to practice mindfulness with the goal of decreasing stress and chaos and increasing focus and resiliency.
