Rocky Mountain Kid Lit Festival

The Rocky Mountain Kid Lit Festival kicks off with a week of story times featuring local authors and illustrators. The festival will continue on Saturday with interactive sessions for kids of all ages. Kids will meet and learn from published writers and illustrators.
“Our society thrives from the stories we share with each other, and this festival celebrates storytelling in aspects of both written and visual mediums. Children of all ages are given an opportunity to learn more about the storytelling process while enjoying the stories being shared.” Library Director Gavin Woltjer said. “Montana is fortunate to have incredible storytellers who are willing to share their expertise with the next generation of storytellers.”
Presenters include Authors Janet Fox, Rod Gottula, Sue Lawrence, and Precious McKenzie along with Illustrators Jeanne Bowman and Jennifer Ard.
