Get your paddles poised for some fast-action bidding at the 51st annual Art in the Beartooths benefit auction for the Carbon County Arts Guild and Depot Gallery!

More than 70 original works of art are offered up for bid in this year’s silent auction. The works are on display through August 3 at the Depot Gallery, located at 11 W. 8th Street in Red Lodge.

The Quick-Finish and Live Auction event gets underway this Saturday, August 3, at 10:00 a.m. at the Red Lodge Ales Events Center. Watch 20 artists create spectacular works of art while you mingle and enjoy mimosas and appetizers. Then get your paddle poised for some fast-action bidding on the finished works, plus some fabulous gift baskets courtesy of local businesses. Tickets are $65 per person and include the quick-finish, live auction, food by Wild Table, a complimentary mimosa, beverages, live music with Cory Johnson, a no-host cash bar, and of course, AMAZING art!

On the Horizon: Labor Day Arts Festival

The arts center also hosts its 45th annual Labor Day Arts Fair, Monday, September 2, 2024, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. It will be held at Lions Park, adjacent to the historic train depot at 11 West 8th Street, in Red Lodge.

The arts fair showcases unique, handcrafted, original art and fine crafts created by dozens of local and regional artists and artisans. Live entertainment, artists demos, and food are also part of the fun at this free, family event. It’s a fabulous opportunity to buy local and regional handmade items and an affordable way add to your personal art collection.
