Missoula’s recently renovated, downtown riverside venue, Caras Park, will once again host the Summer MADE Fair on Saturday, June 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free to this unique show.

The Missoula Summer MADE Fair features over 190 local and regional artists and craftspeople selling beautiful, one-of-a-kind creations, non-profits, a family care area, and local food and beverages. The fair promises something for every taste and budget, from affordable, functional works of art to exquisite heirloom pieces. Out-of-state visitors can find unusual souvenirs that remind them of their travels to the region.
“Make a day of it with friends and family, soaking in the creative atmosphere and supporting your local artists,” says Carol Lynn Lapotka, Fair organizer.
“The MADE fair is not just a market; it’s an experience,” says Lapotka. Walking from booth to booth provides a rare opportunity to engage in conversations with the exhibiting artists and artisans about their work.

These events aim to increase awareness of handmade goods as an alternative to mass-produced items by featuring local and regional artists and makers and a selection of non-profits. By supporting local and regional small craft businesses, the MADE Fair provides a platform for artists of all levels to showcase their talents, from hobbyists to seasoned professionals.
HandMADE Montana is an organization for artisans and makers. They organize events (MADE fairs and workshops), provide resources to artists, and encourage growth and support in our community efforts. The MADE fair is Montana’s largest art & handcrafted market and features a curated collection of over 200 skilled artisans as well as a handful of non-profits. Every year they put on Spring, Summer, Fall and Holiday fairs in locations such as Missoula, Helena and Bozeman, making these works available to a wide audience.
