Montana Ballet Company Announces its Upcoming 2025-26 Season

Unique collaborations, guest dancers and old favorites are in store for ballet lovers

Bozeman’s original, cherished holiday ballet tradition, The Nutcracker in collaboration with the Bozeman Symphony, will be held during the Christmas Stroll weekend. There will be four performances held at the Willson Auditorium in Bozeman on December 6-7. With all new choreography, stunning sets and costumes, exciting theatrical elements, and world-renowned guest artists, this classic tale will enchant all audiences.

Always a favorite leading up to The Nutcracker performances, Tea with Clara, will be held at The Kimpton Armory on Sunday, November 23 at 11 a.m. This special event is a delight for families and children. Enjoy Nutcracker performance highlights, dancing with Clara, fine tea and treats, keepsake photos, a special Nutcracker boutique, a mimosa bar, and a family-focused silent auction.

Next, Montana Ballet Company will present one of the most romantic story ballets of all time, Sleeping Beauty, on the weekend of March 7-8 at the Willson Auditorium. This captivating love story is set to Tchaikovsky’s delightful score, performed by the Bozeman Symphony, conducted by Norman Huynh. This gorgeous ballet will mesmerize audiences with breathtaking dancing, spectacular visuals, and wondrous moments.

To close the season, Montana Ballet Company proudly presents ABT Studio Company in Connections 2026, a single performance on May 28 at the Willson Auditorium. The junior company of American Ballet Theatre, ABT Studio Company, features rising stars of the ballet world. More than 80% of current dancers in American Ballet Theatre are alumni of ABT Studio Company, including most soloists and principal dancers.

Throughout the year, Montana Ballet Company offers courses and classes in the community to teach and promote ballet and dance. The Academy, Montana Ballet Company’s official educational facility, provides the finest classical ballet instruction for students age 2 to pre-professional. With a humanistic approach, The Academy’s professional faculty introduces children and adults alike to the art, discipline, and beauty of classical ballet, enriching the minds and spirits of those who aspire to learn the art form and establish a profound and life-long relationship with dance.
