Moss Mansion Haunted Elegance
Autumn’s shadows grow long over Billings, and the Moss Mansion is preparing to unleash its spookiest season yet. This October, history’s whispers turn to ghostly laughter and clinking glasses. Two enchanting Halloween events invite thrill-seekers and sleuths alike into its ornate halls.
Booze Clue — October 24–25, 2025, 6–9 p.m.
On Friday and Saturday, October 24 and 25, the Moss Mansion transforms into a live-action Clue board game that combines a little bit of murder, a little bit of intrigue, and a whole lot of Clue-themed fun. Guests will roam the mansion’s richly themed rooms, interviewing suspects, gathering hints, and solving a murder mystery. Sipping on four craft cocktails is encouraged (non-alcoholic options available). Once you crack the case, a secret “Moss Speakeasy” awaits with extra libations and bragging rights. It’s an immersive evening of intrigue and ambiance. Dress for the 1920’s era or come as your favorite detective: Inspector Clouseau, anyone?
Monster Ball — October 31, 2025, 7–10 p.m.
On Halloween night, the mansion hosts its grand Monster Ball. From 7 to 10 pm, attendees will enjoy dancing under a tented outdoor dance floor, themed costume lounges, photobooth fun, and horrifyingly delicious cocktails (like Vampire Lounge Bloody Marys and Moonchild Moonshine) served across multiple mansion levels. DJ Dan of Black-Tie Productions will keep the energy high, and a costume contest will crown the best monster at 9 p.m. Admission (around $55) includes mansion access, appetizers, specialty drinks, and dancing — with extras available at the bar. Arrive via the mansion’s back entrance and be ready for stairs, surprises, and spectral delight.
Family Ghost Tours are another favorite during the spooky month. The Moss Mansion will be shutting off the lights and allowing guests to roam the house at their own pace while they uncover stories of haunts by the friendly spirits at the museum! Attendees will become “certified junior ghost hunters” after completing a scavenger hunt and uncovering stories throughout the rooms. Book early!
