Jacob Jolliff first gained national attention as a founding member of Joy Kills Sorrow. Later, he became a standout performer with Yonder Mountain String Band. A Berklee College of Music graduate and 2012 National Mandolin Champion, Jolliff has earned a reputation for pushing traditional bluegrass into thrilling new territory. His performances blend jaw-dropping technical precision with soulful improvisation. His style that has captivated audiences from coast to coast. In 2022, Jacob was called on by world famous banjo player, Béla Fleck, to tour as part of My Bluegrass Heart. He performed around the country alongside Béla and some of the very best musicians in the genre: Bryan Sutton, Cody Kilby, Justin Moses, Mark Schatz, Michael Cleveland, Stuart Duncan and Billy Contreras.
