About the Play

The Rope Trick invites audiences into the eerie world of The Rational Thinkers Society, where a small group gathers to discuss the history of séances. Diana, the Society’s outreach coordinator, and her assistant Shelby, interview Helen Webb — granddaughter of a woman who could speak to the dead.

As the evening unfolds, flickering lights and strange happenings blur the line between logic and the supernatural. The play’s tagline warns: There’s no such thing as ghosts. Or is there?

Rated PG-13, The Rope Trick delivers an unforgettable mix of wit, suspense, and local artistry. Don’t miss this chance to see a brand-new Montana-made premiere that will leave you questioning what’s real — and what lies beyond.
