Bridger Ski Swap Brings Winter Gear Bargains Back to Bozeman

Shop thousands of items and support local skiing at the annual community fundraiser

New & Notable

The Bridger Ski Swap returns November 7–8, 2026, filling Bozeman’s Gallatin County Fairgrounds with more than 10,000 items for winter adventures. Now in its 58th year, the Bridger Ski Foundation fundraiser brings together seasoned skiers, first-time riders and families ready to gear up for snow.

Beyond the bargains, the weekend offers a festive gathering for the Gallatin Valley’s skiing community. Recirculating equipment helps more people afford a winter setup while giving useful gear another season on the Montana snow.

Find gear for winter adventures

Browse new and used equipment for alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, snowboarding and backcountry outings. The selection includes skis, snowboards, boots, poles, backpacks and winter clothing. Alongside consignment gear from community members, local and regional retailers offer discounted new inventory.

Saturday shoppers get the widest selection, while Sunday brings potential savings. Sellers can choose to reduce prices by 10%, 25% or 50% for Sunday’s sale. Checkout accepts cash and credit cards.

Have outgrown boots or extra skis? Register each consignment item online before dropping it off. Registration costs $1 per item through November 3 and $3 afterward. BSF retains a 25% commission on sold items.

Drop off preregistered equipment Friday, November 6, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Items registered after November 3 have a later drop-off window, from 1–7 p.m. Collect unsold items Sunday, November 8, between 2–5 p.m. BSF retains anything unclaimed after 5 p.m.

The swap is BSF’s biggest annual fundraiser. Proceeds support ski programs for approximately 1,000 local youth, scholarships and groomed winter trails around Bozeman, including snowmaking at Sunset Hills. The foundation has helped bring skiing to the community since 1936.
