“A Timeless Legacy Women Artists of Glacier National Park” Sale Event

pre-exhibition sale showcases works by 29 recognized women artists that reflect the vastness and grandeur of Glacier National Park. The exhibit of landscapes, and paintings of wildlife, early visitors and indigenous cultures, continues through Sept. 23. “Glacier Reflections: A Retrospective,” curated by Karen Leigh, features works by Corinne Lundgren, Marsha Davis and Darlene Morgan through Sept. 9; the three living legacy artists has each devoted a lifetime to painting Glacier Park people and places. Internationally renowned Spanish artist Manel Alvarez shares past drawings and sculptures, as well as new works inspired by northwest Montana through Aug. 5 in “Step by Step.” Nationally known artist Linda Glover Gooch offers a plein-air painting workshop in the park Aug. 7-9 ($375).
