Alpine Artisans Tour of the Arts Showcase

This popular self-guided tour has expanded to feature the work of more than 30 artists in seven artist studios, three galleries and two historical museums in Swan Lake, Seeley Lake, Condon, Lincoln and Ovando. The tour is held annually in mid-October to showcase the natural beauty of the Western Tamaracks as they turn a bright yellow and orange, and highlight the beauty of the Seeley, Swan and Blackfoot valleys. Watch participating artists at work, learn about their lifestyles and discover local history. Tour maps are available online.
This year’s tour also includes two free movie screenings of Montana-made film “Walking Out,” 7 p.m. Oct. 12 at the Lincoln Community Hall and 7 p.m. Oct. 13 at the Seeley Lake Community Center.
