Alpine Theatre Project: Auditions for Madagascar

Auditions for Madagascar A Musical Adventure JR. are coming up for grades 1 8 and they’re fun, friendly, and open to all experience levels. Register before Sept. 4 to secure a preferred rehearsal schedule (Mon/Wed or Tue/Thu first come, first served).
Auditions are fun, relaxed, and last about 90 minutes perfect for grades 1 8. There’s nothing to prepare. We’ll teach a short section of a song from the show to the group, go over it together, and keep the vibe super supportive.  
Join Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, Gloria the hip hip Hippo, and those hilarious penguins as they embark on the musical adventure of a lifetime.
Based on the smash DreamWorks animated movie, this musical follows your favorite “crack-a-lackin’” friends as they escape New York’s Central Park Zoo and find themselves in King Julien’s wild Madagascar.
Filled with outlandish characters, adventure galore, and an upbeat score, Madagascar JR. will leave audiences with no choice but to “Move It, Move It!”
Taught by theatre professionals including Broadway veterans ATP Kids is a fun, skill-building program where local students gain confidence, creativity, self-discipline, and lasting friendships. Over six weeks, students rehearse a full musical production and perform it on stage.
