Emmy-nominated documentary shines a light on why Fort Missoula was turned into an internment camp, and on the lives of thousands of men interned there during World War II. It will be followed by commentary and Q & A with internment camp preservation advocate Diane Sands and retired attorney Bob Knight (he may touch on cultural and legal issues surrounding the confinement of 120,000 people of Japanese ancestry held at Fort Missoula and dozens of other government camps 75 years ago).

This is the first event in a three-part series, “”Abridging Rights of The Other: Human Repercussions of Confiscation, Separation and Confinement.””
