Andrew Rivera: Shaking Hands With Death

This solo exhibition features works Andrew Rivera has made during his two-year residency at The Clay Studio of Missoula. Rivera earned a BFA from the University of Minnesota, Duluth and participated in the Minnesota New Institute for Ceramic Education (MN NICE) program at Northern Clay Center. He aims to capture values from his Mexican heritage in his ceramic wares, including everyday rituals, connections, and relationships.
This socially distanced outdoor reception on June 19 will be held in the Clay Studio’s parking lot and garden. (Please bring your own refreshments). Attendees will be able to view the exhibit inside the gallery and make purchases.
The exhibit is on display through July 2; gallery hours are noon-5 p.m. Monday-Friday and noon-2 p.m. Saturday.
