Artist Reception: A Rainbow of Garden Favorites: Art by Brittany Hass

Brittany Haas, a 2024 Juried Art Exhibition artist, was selected as Juror's Choice, meaning her work stood out amongst the rest as being especially unique and skilled. As a recipient of this award, Brittany received the opportunity to have her own solo art show in the gallery.
Brittany Hass is a graphic designer by day, and an analog artist by the evenings and weekends. Five years ago, she stumbled into the Botanical Art and Illustration program at Denver Botanic Gardens, hoping for some non-computer creative outlets. The program requires mastery of four core mediums: graphite, pen and ink, watercolor, and colored pencil. It also allows for exploration of additional mediums such as carbon dust, gouache, printmaking, and more.
