Exhibition: Mike Kosorok and Liz Chappie-Zoller

Apr 5 - Apr 26

Free

Red Lodge resident, Mike Kosorok, will be showing his small watercolor paintings. Mike primarily paints Montana landscapes so you will probably recognize his captured scenes. Many people are familiar with his oil landscape paintings, which he has been creating for over thirty years and regularly displays in the Carbon County Art Guild. Mike is an accomplished professional artist selected numerous times for C.M. Russell Art Auction in Great Falls.
Liz Chappie-Zoller is a contemporary equine and wildlife artist from Three Forks. She is best known for incorporating images from her rural western American landscape with the urban-based graffiti she collects from trains passing through the remote Missouri River valley of her Montana home. Her art explores the overlapping edges of diverse cultures and celebrates our connections, supporting her belief that what we have in common is much greater than what divides us. The traditional symbolism of each art work is deeply researched, combined with favorite relevant quotes and bits of poetry, then embellished with the urban graffiti she collects.
