inagural event kicks off Friday with an artist workshop from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. with Internationally known artist Cameron Moberg (727-5430).
Saturday brings three walking tours (at 11 a.m., 1 and 3 p.m.) and the installation of at least three new large-scale murals on buildings in Downtown Great Falls. Moberg will collaborate with local artists on installation of two of the murals.
The 90-minute tours start in Davidson Plaza at the statue of Charlie Russell and his horse, Monte, where participants will be treated to some history of the arts in Great Falls. From there, the group walks from one location to the next, viewing existing artwork and murals that are being installed during ArtsFest MONTANA . The journey ends with a cool beverage at the Mighty Mo.
