John Clayton talks about his award-winning Wonderlandscape: Yellowstone National Park and the Evolution of an American Cultural Icon.
As the National Park system enters its second century, Wonderlandscape helps us see the values and heritage that Yellowstone alone has come to represent how it has shaped America's relationship with her land and how it will continue to do so for generations to come.
This will not be a traditional “author reading.” Clayton has a 45-minute slideshow that summarizes the book's themes called "Ten Ways to Look at Yellowstone.” Afterward, he signs copies of his books.
The author lives in Red Lodge and is an insightful and prolific writer of articles, essays, and books about the region.
