“Big Game, Big Stories: Montana’s Hunting Heritage”

new exhibit presents a history of hunting in Montana, expressed through art, artifacts and custom vignettes. “From the Heart: Stan Lynde’s Comic Creations” continues through Dec. 31, and highlights never-before-seen comics, sketches and other original artwork by one of Montana’s favorite sons. The exhibit traces his early high school comics, his nationally syndicated strips, “Rick O’Shay” and “Latigo,” and his award-winning illustrated novels. Ongoing exhibits include “Montana Tannenbaum,” which touches on Montana’s three national Christmas trees.
