Big Timber Rodeo and Sweet Grass Fest

Action-packed rodeo and family-fun festival kicks off Friday with the rodeo at 7 p.m. and live music by Judson Cole Band and TJ Broscroff and the Southern Satellites at 9 p.m. in the American Legion Parking Lot.
Saturday dawns with a Fireman’s Breakfast, followed by the 3-mile Montana on a Mission Fun Run at 8:30 a.m. and a parade at 2 p.m. Saturday. Activities also include a car and tractor show, vendor fair, quilt show, live music and a kids’ fair with a bouncy house, face painting and petting zoo.
Rodeo action is on tap at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Sweet Grass County Fairgrounds, with another after-party at the American Legion parking lot at 8 p.m. featuring Porter Union and Flatland Calvary.
