Bozeman Film Society: "Honey Boy"

Based on LaBeouf's own screenplay, award-winning filmmaker Alma Har'el brings "Honey Boy" to life, recounting the young actor's stormy childhood and early adult years as he struggles to reconcile with his father through cinema and dreams. LeBeouf channels his own father in a masterful performance, and is joined by cast members Lucas Hedges, Noah Jupe, Byron Bowers, and Laura San Giacomo.
The 93-minute film is hailed by RogerEbert.com as “a cinematic act of courage.” Rated R.
