The centerpiece of this concert is three violinists who are graduates of The Juilliard School and reside here in Bozeman Concertmaster Carrie Krause, principal second violin Pico Alt, and distinguished violinist Angella Ahn, known for embracing 21st century classical music with her own unique style and innovative collaborations.
Their performance of Johann Sebastian Bach’s Concerto for Three Violins in D minor will be paired with a conductor’s choice as the orchestra continues to introduce audiences to music director finalists this season.
Along with Brahms’ Symphony No. 4, the audience will be reintroduced to some of the darkest and deepest music of the 19th century.
