Brothel Days

annual tribute to both prostitutes and hurdy-gurdy girls kicks off at 1 p.m. with a talk by Leona Stredwick about the history of prostitution, brothels, and madams in Montana. Bed races commence at 4 p.m.; each five-person team must have a person dressed in “proper attire” and race the bed up Main Street. Lace up your corsets for the costume party at 9:30 p.m., featuring country tunes by Sam Platts and the Kootenai Three.
