Bumblewood Thicket Fairy Village Art Installation: Meet the Makers

Sep 21

Free

Meet the Makers is a rare chance to peek behind the magic veil and meet the (human) fairy architects! Makers of the village will be present to answer questions both about their process and their fairy friends who live and work in their structures.
This whimsical event is produced by local nonprofit arts organization Random Acts of Silliness in partnership with Gallatin Valley Land Trust (GVLT) and the City of Bozeman. Bumblewood Thicket transforms the wooded park trails into a fantastical fairy forest.
Now an annual tradition, this year marks the seventh year of Bumblewood Thicket, an enchanted (and enchanting) fairy village comprising 21 fairy homes and businesses crafted by local artists and makers known as Fairy Architects. The village is self-guided, free, and open to fairy fans of all ages. Legend has it that the village is invisible to human eyes almost all the time. Luckily, the fairies lift the veil and make their tiny town visible to human eyes for just a few weeks each year.
Every Wednesday evening and Sunday afternoon, Magic Moments in Bumblewood Thicket will feature live music, storytelling, and enchanting photo opportunities, Magic Moments is free and unticketed.
