Butte has a strong Irish history from its mining days. The copper mine brought thousands of Irish immigrants to the area and their cultural impact on Butte never faltered. Still today, nearly a quarter of Butte's population is of Irish descent.
Consider celebrating this St. Patrick's Day in the "most Irish place in the U.S."!
Events kick off with a parade in historic Uptown Butte at 12pm. Following the parade revelers are encouraged to get a bite to eat from one of Butte’s many fine eateries or food trucks. Shopping, beverages, and more eats will carry everyone into the evening. New and re-acquainted friendships will make for great memories until a return trip to Butte is booked.
Parade Route: begins at the corner of Arizona and Granite Streets, proceeding West on Granite to Montana Street, South on Montana to Park Street, and finally East on Park toward Arizona Street where the parade will conclude.
