The Ellen Theatre and Montana TheatreWorks proudly celebrate 30 years with the Broadway hit Cabaret. It was July 1995 when MTW presented its first musical and since that production, over 177,000 have attended such shows as Mary Poppins, The Sound of Music, Annie, Oklahoma!, Fiddler on the Roof and more.
With Cabaret, The Ellen is once again welcoming performers from New York to join the cast for this powerhouse musical, set in 1930 at Berlin’s colorful Kit Kat Klub during the twilight of the Jazz Age. The plot revolves around American writer Cliff Bradshaw and nightclub performer Sally Bowles, with a score featuring such exhilarating songs and dances as Money, Maybe This Time, Tomorrow Belongs to Me, Two Ladies, and the show-stopping title tune Cabaret.
Due to mature themes, this show is recommended for adult audiences.
