Camp Mimanagish

Jun 17 - Jun 21

Bust out that Inner Inventor at this summer’s Creative Arts Camp. Campers will be inspired to design and construct a unique functional art piece using beautiful wood pieces. A clock? Mosaic? Garden art? A whirligig? Plein-air painting, on one’s own or with guidance, is always offered. Wildflowers will be out in mid-June; temps are cool and the Camp is gorgeous.
Dawn Nelson will return for more Botanical Illustrating, and Susan Hummel will teach the Coptic Stitch for bookbinding. Everyone will have the opportunity to contribute artistically to a large welcome banner for the Camp. They’ll have children’s activities as well.
This year they’re inviting a more multi-generational approach. It has always been a delight when parents and grandparents bring a younger family member to Creative Arts Camp. It’s a chance to bond and make memories, as well as creating tangible reminders of time together. There will be activities specifically for the kids, so that everyone can work at their own level.
