Charley Crockett with Vincent Neil Emerson

Texas-bred country musician Charley Crockett performs at The Elm in Bozeman on Saturday, April 16, followed by The Wilma in Missoula on Sunday, April 17. Fellow Texan Vincent Neil Emerson will open for Crockett at both shows.
From humble beginnings in San Benito, Texas, the 37 year-old singer, songwriter and guitarist, has come a long way. He’s had his share of ups and downs but that’s part of what makes his music that much better.
Crockett has been busy the past seven years, releasing 10 albums since 2015. Most recently, he released Music City USA, in 2021. The Boot called it “a dose of horn-filled soul” and Brooklyn Vegan called it “a sweet and sultry slice of southern soul.”
