solo exhibition features works Christine Gronneberg has made during her two-year residency at The Clay Studio of Missoula. The artist believes that our precious, most beautiful objects should be everyday objects and is dedicated to making comfortable, well-crafted pots for the home.
After earning a B.F.A. from Montana State University in 2015, Gronneberg moved back to her hometown of Helena to pursue her love of wood firing and was a studio assistant for Tara Wilson. From 2017-18, she was a post baccalaureate student at Utah State University, and delved into the world of functional low-fired ceramics during her time there.
The exhibit will run through July 31. Gallery hours are noon-5 p.m. Monday-Friday, and noon-2 p.m. select Saturdays, July 11 and 25
