Community Yom Kippur: A Ritual of Repair

Oct 1

Free

Missoula’s Jewish Community invites the Western Montana Community to a Yom Kippur event. Yom Kippur is the Jewish Day of Atonement, Repair and Redress.
All are welcome and encouraged to attend, regardless of whether or not they are Jewish.
The event will include commemoration of Palestinians, Jews and others who have died over the past year during the Gaza genocide. The ritual will include lighting candles, singing songs, and sharing thoughts, prayers and feelings.
Because Yom Kippur is a day of fasting, there will be no food or beverages served or consumed during this event. There will be a collection of nonperishable food to donate to the Missoula Food Bank.
