Contemporary Folk Animals

a group show of artists from across the state is on display through Oct. 8 at the outdoor sculpture park adjacent to the Missoula Art Museum. Four animal sculptures by Drummond artist Bill Ohrmann, Bozeman artist Kirsten Kainz, and Missoula artist George Ybarra, each made from repurposed materials, are on view in the Missoula Art Park.
The animals depicted in this exhibition including elk, mountain goat, horse and owl are familiar across western Montana and these ambitious artists have presented each in large-scale forms.
