Contrast/Complement is an exploration of artistic versatility, showcasing the diverse talents of six innovative Missoula-based artists who masterfully navigate the boundaries between clay and another medium. Each artist presents two distinct bodies of work, inviting viewers into the dualities of their creative processes.
Through the tactile and grounded nature of clay, juxtaposed with the expressive possibilities of alternative materials, each individual artist explores the intricate dialogue between form, texture, and concept.
Featured artists include: Amanda Krolczyk, Stella Nall, Kelli Sinner, Brendan Stewart, Melissa Thompson and Adelheid West.
The exhibition will be on display at the Clay Studio of Missoula from September 6-28, with an opening on Friday September 6, from 5-8 p.m.
